Berny Jacques is deeply-rooted in conservative values and is a testament to the American dream.
Berny’s father worked as a director for a government agency in Haiti. When political violence erupted in their country, the family sought political asylum in the US in 1994. Working multiple jobs in Immokalee, FL, his parents ensured Berny and his two brothers had the best opportunities in life.
Berny never took these opportunities for granted, and believes in an America where hard work and perseverance determine your success. This principle motivated Berny to push himself in all aspects of life: graduating from Stetson Law School, working with local law enforcement and domestic violence victims as a prosecutor and Assistant State Attorney, upholding our rights as an attorney in private practice, and now serving as Director of Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay.
Berny has never forgotten his roots, and has always sought to give back to his community. He served as president of the Pinellas County Young Republicans, established the Young Floridians for Opportunity PAC, and currently mentors at-risk youth in the Big Brother and Big Sisters Program.
As our State Representative, Berny is committed to fostering economic opportunity, safer neighborhoods, and a high quality of life for our families and communities.
Berny will work with us and for us to Protect Pinellas!
