During his tenure, Representative Jacques has been instrumental in reducing the death penalty jury threshold, eliminating the power of a single juror to decide, in direct response to the injustice of Parkland, Florida shooter Nikolas Cruz not being sentenced to death. This endorsement from Representative Bankson comes at a crucial time as the campaign gears up for the upcoming elections.
